Are coupons worth it?

In the tough economic times right now, every dollar matters. One way to save money on your everday grocery shopping is with coupons. If you combine these with the weekly sales in the market, you can save a lot of money off the regular price.

But is it worth the trouble? You just have to work on it. Plan your market trip, that means doing your research on the current sale items on your weekly market flyers. Getting the Sunday papers, it has a good coupon section in it. Also check out stores that offer double coupons, meaning they will double the value of a coupon.

It may also be a good idea to get a coupon organizer. You do not want to be fumbling through a big stack of coupons while you are in the market.

If you fully commit to it, you can save about $50-100 a month just using coupons. And this adds up over the year.

    You are good!
I wish my man would be more diligent in using coupons but then again coupons in my part of the world, they are hardly of any use except for the occasional buy 1 free something like a burger or chips or coffee. Hardly any grocery or supermarket coupons .
